The Vegetation Committee of Sanibel offers vegetation tours of all the plants which reside on the City Hall grounds, located at 800 Dunlop Road on Sanibel Island.

A number of native wildflower species and an array of native plants make the City Hall grounds a lush and beautiful tour. The pair of vegetation tour guides on Wednesday, Dec. 10, were Ruth Brooks and Gloria Hannan, which drew a tour group of near 20 interested green thumbs.

Vegetation tours are held in season on every second Wednesday and fourth Saturday at 10 a.m. of each month. Groups should meet in front of City Hall.
