I will vote for Trump

To the editor:

The battle between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump is very much a question of proven track record versus claims. Clinton has the proven track record. During her tenure as Secretary of State, she created one disaster after another. Her "reset" with Russia led to the worst Russia/US relations since the cold war. Russia is on the move in the Ukraine, and is a major player in the Middle East. She led the US destabilization of Libya, resulting in the death of dictator Gaddafi (who had given up his weapons of mass destruction) and the rise of ISIS there. She showed, by the testimony of her long-term supporter FBI Director James Comey, that she is above the law by which the rest of us are governed, and cannot be trusted with classified information.

Clinton advocates open borders for the US, allowing uncontrolled immigration, creating massive assimilation, environmental and economic problems. She wants to preserve the failing ObamaCare program and Obama's economic policies that have increased taxes and destroyed jobs.

Trump, on the other hand, has no track record, other than his successes in building businesses and hiring people. He made a good pick for Vice President in Mike Pence and provided an encouraging list of Constitutionalist candidates for the Supreme Court. He presented a tax plan to encourage job growth, an immigration plan to vet entrants more carefully, and supports law and order and a strong military.

I will vote for Trump, as I believe he loves his country.
