Museum accepting shell donations

April 12, 2018
Island Reporter, Captiva Current, Sanibel-Captiva Islander

Anyone with an excess of seashells is asked to donate them to the Bailey-Matthews National Shell Museum, which can put them to good use. It is accepting empty and unaltered Southwest Florida shell donations to support its educational platforms and family shell craft programming. All shell species are needed, especially horse conchs for its school kits. Those able to help can contact 239-395-2233 or info@shellmuseum.org. The museum is at 3075 Sanibel Captiva Road, Sanibel.
